A31/405 Tobias Flaschge (active in 1788–1831) Table clock. Vienna, first third of the 19th century. Clockwork with quarter-hour chimes is set in cylindrical case made of gilded brass and stands on two dolphin figures. Dolphins stand on cubical brass plinth decorated by figural scenes and supported by four small turtle-shaped legs. Clock case is topped with a figure of lying lion made of gilded brass. White clock face is set with Arabian numerals. Clock face marked „Tobias Flaschge in Wien“. Condition A/B, h. 36 cm.
